Connor Roberts, a defender, is hoping that his lucky mustache will help Wales defeat Poland in their Euro 2024 playoff and guarantee a spot in Germany for this year’s European Championship.
Wales will be trying to make it to their third consecutive Euros when they play Poland in Cardiff on Tuesday. Wales defeated Finland 4-1 in the Path A semi-final.
Roberts, who has gone undefeated in the Championship while sprouting a moustache at Burnley and Leeds United, participated for the entire ninety minutes against Finland.

When questioned by reporters about his facial hair, Roberts replied, “To be honest, it’s just a little bit of a joke.”
“My wife said, ‘Why don’t you grow it?’ so I did, and we went on a winning streak at Burnley the previous year.
This year, I’ve repeated the same action and constantly asking her if I should cut it off, but since she seems to like it, I’m going to leave it alone.”It has played, I believe, about 25 Championship games without losing. I hope that streak continues in the Championship and perhaps it will bring us some luck on Tuesday. Isn’t that the force of the tache?
