1. Reporting Copyright Infringement

  • A direct link (URL) to the allegedly infringing material on Afrofuse.com

  • A statement that you have a good faith belief that the disputed use is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law

  • A statement made under penalty of perjury that the information in the notice is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or authorized to act on behalf of the owner

  • Your electronic or physical signature

3. What Happens Next

Upon receipt of a valid DMCA notice:

  • We will promptly remove or disable access to the allegedly infringing content.

  • We will notify the user who posted the material that a DMCA takedown request has been received.

  • The user will be given the opportunity to file a counter-notification if they believe the content was removed in error (see Section 4).

Repeat infringers may have their accounts suspended or terminated at our discretion.

4. Counter-Notification Procedure

If you believe your content was removed in error or misidentification, you may file a DMCA counter-notification with the following information:

  • Your name, address, phone number, and email

  • A description of the material that was removed and its original URL

  • A statement under penalty of perjury that you believe the material was removed by mistake or misidentification

  • A statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the courts in Ghana

  • Your physical or electronic signature

If we receive a valid counter-notice, we may restore the content unless the original complainant files a court action within 14 business days.

5. Repeat Infringer Policy

Afrofuse maintains a policy of terminating, in appropriate circumstances, users who are repeat infringers. This includes users who upload content that repeatedly violates copyright laws, whether knowingly or negligently.

We also reserve the right to suspend or remove accounts for a single instance of clear and intentional infringement.
